“Our studio is small, personal and was created with a lot of love. It's not about show, comparison or maximum pressure, but about training that suits you.” Behind lb personal training at Adalbertsteinweg 175a in Aachen is Lucas Beckers – nutrition scientist (B.Sc. in Ecotrophology, Hochschule Niederrhein), personal trainer, functional fitness trainer and fitness and health trainer, and a member of the professional association VDOe.
He offers 1:1 and 1+1 personal training, nutrition counselling with a food diary and analysis, and programmes such as rookie, fit14 and change12, plus small groups, corporate fitness, workshops, cooking events and supermarket tours. “No standard plan, no crowded class and no feeling that you have to prove yourself.” Nutrition advice is just as practical: “No diet mentality, no rigid rules and no nutrition trends that stop working after two weeks.” According to the website, references include RWTH Aachen University, the City of Aachen and the Aachen adult education centre.
