“Don't just learn to read music – learn to understand music right away.” Behind the Musical Arts School Aachen at Johanniterstraße 13 is piano and keyboard teacher Dominik Schulte, who according to the website founded the music school “KeyboardForKids” in 2006 and specialised with the Musical Arts School in 2010; he teaches on his own in his studio. “It matters to me to give laypeople, too, quality musical access to culture!”
He teaches piano and keyboard in pop, film music, jazz and lounge/bar piano, improvisation, arranging and songwriting, Hammond organ techniques and the basics of music production – individually or in groups, for children, teenagers and adults with no previous knowledge, plus workshops for professional musicians; the trial lesson is also possible online. “The aim of the beginners' lessons is to get you as quickly as possible to the point where you can play and perform your favourite songs from the sheet, e.g. on stage with a band or as a soloist.”
Lessons Monday to Thursday 4–9 pm by arrangement; contact on +49 241 60953090, by mobile and WhatsApp on +49 160 4621574 or info@musical-arts-school.com.
