“With us, music is the living diversity behind the notes.” According to the website, the Musikakademie am Dom at Hartmannstraße 2 in Aachen has existed since 2008; owner and director is Natalia Zagrebailova (Natalie Bach), ten teachers teach here, and there is a branch at Ahornstraße 51. “To start making music with us you need no previous knowledge. Just the joy of music.”
Lessons cover piano and keyboard, guitar and bass, violin, viola and cello, drums, recorder and flute, accordion and singing, plus music theory, composition and improvisation; for the youngest there is Musikgarten from eighteen months and early music education, as well as preparation for music studies and an affiliated art school. “We regularly give concerts with interested students and play music at events.”
