“Klingwiese – Musik von Anfang an is a music school for the youngest in Aachen's lovely Frankenberger Viertel.” The Musikschule Klingwiese at Wilhelmstraße 85 was founded by Lisa Klingenburg-Biergans, who studied instrumental and elementary music teaching in Cologne and music outreach in Detmold, and headed music outreach at Theater Aachen from 2016 to 2023.
The courses are aimed at babies from a few months old, toddlers and children up to ten, with and without their parents – from the “Schmetterlinge” and “Krabbelkäfer” courses through early music education and basic training to forest music –, plus recorder and flute lessons also for teenagers and adults; since 2023 the school has organised a children's music festival in the Frankenberger Viertel. “The aim is to kindle a musical fire through making music together – one that may accompany children and families for a lifetime.”
Courses at fixed times, trial lesson by arrangement; contact on +49 176 66153582 or info@klingwiese.de.
