Shouraki Jeet Kune Do Aachen

“We understand Jeet Kune Do as a concept rather than a rigid style: from dozens of martial arts you take what works and build your own style from it.” Shouraki Jeet Kune Do Aachen – listed on Google as Kampfsportschule & Fitnesszentrum Shouraki – at Jülicher Straße 216 was founded in 1995; owner and head coach is Dai Sifu Reza Shouraki. According to the website, more than 600 active members train here in 41 classes a week on 1,400 m² in five halls, coached by twelve instructors. “Since 1995, children, teenagers, women and men have trained with us in a safe learning environment where respect and discipline count just as much as strength and technique.”

Besides Jeet Kune Do, the timetable includes MMA, kickboxing/K1 and JKD kickboxing, boxing, Wing Chun, grappling/BJJ and Kali/Escrima with stick and knife, plus kids' training from age three, youth groups for 9- to 15-year-olds, women's fitness kickboxing and Thai boxing, LES MILLS classes such as BODYPUMP and BODYCOMBAT, a gym and personal training. “With us, the focus is not only on fighting but also on developing self-confidence, discipline and respect.”
