Restaurant Delphi at Friedhofstraße 12 is one of the traditional houses of Aalen's restaurant scene: Christos Gouromichos opened it in 1985 and still runs it today, more than 40 years on. His daughter Ioanna has meanwhile opened her own modern Greek restaurant in Aalen, the "Janulas" – "my dad is carrying on at the Delphi", she told the Schwäbische Post.

The menu is classic Greek: tzatziki, original Greek feta with olive oil, olives and peperoni to start, then souvlaki, gyros with rice and tzatziki, giouvetsi, fried calamari, seafood platters for one or two, sea bream royal as well as lamb chops, rack of lamb and lamb fillet skewers. Guests particularly recommend the gyros platter and the grilled aubergines; the portions are considered generous. In summer there is a terrace, and because of high demand a reservation is recommended.

Opening hours are Wednesday to Monday from 11:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to midnight; Tuesday is the day off. The restaurant takes reservations by phone on 07361 66964; the menu and special opening hours are published on delphi-aalen.net.
