Öz Antep Sofrası at Westlicher Stadtgraben 2 brings the cuisine of south-eastern Anatolia to Aalen's city centre – Gaziantep, Antep for short, is regarded as the home of Turkish kebab culture. With 4.8 stars from more than 700 Google reviews, the restaurant is among the best-rated places in town; guests praise the intense flavours, fresh ingredients, the quality of the meat and the warm-hearted staff.
The menu features grilled and döner dishes such as steak döner in yufka or as a plate, Adana kebab, lamb skewers (kuzu şiş), beyti sarma, the mixed grill plate and İskender, plus mezze such as hummus and haydari, vegetarian pide and künefe for dessert. All dishes are also available to take away; in summer guests are served outside, and card payment is accepted.
