Pizzeria Rauchfang at Alte Heidenheimer Straße 19 has been a family-run Italian restaurant in Aalen since 1992 – it started, in its own words, "with little space". The house was formerly the Gasthaus "Schwarzes Lamm"; the name Rauchfang has remained.
The menu features pizza – also as XXL pizza for several people –, spaghetti, penne, tortellini, tagliatelle and gnocchi, pasta al forno, risotto, meat and fish dishes; house specialities are the "Funghi Rauchfang al forno", stuffed mushrooms with spinach, ham and gorgonzola sauce, and the "Pizza Rauchfang". All dishes are available to take away, and from three dishes the pizzeria delivers to your home; there is a lunch menu at midday.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30 to 14:30 and from 17:30 to 23:00, Sunday until 22:00; Monday is the day off. Orders and reservations on 07361 32775 or by email at info@pizzeria-rauchfang.de.
