Since 1891.” The Wiener Feinbäcker Heberer branch at Aschaffenburg main station has existed since 2011; the family business itself began in 1891 with a bakery on the market square in Offenbach. It owes its name to Georg Heberer II, who trained as a confectioner at the Viennese coffee house Demel in 1928. Today Sandra and Georg Patrick Heberer run the company in its fifth generation from Mühlheim am Main, with more than 200 branches, mainly at railway stations and airports.
The range includes bread and rolls, Viennese pastries and cakes, filled rolls and snacks as well as coffee to go. On how it bakes, the company writes: “Our hand-shaped loaves are made from natural sourdough according to our own purity standard.” And: “We make our rolls from long-fermented doughs.”
The station branch is open every day: Monday to Saturday from 5 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 6 am to 8 pm. A second Heberer branch is located in the City Galerie. Contact: +49 6021 219278.
