Methodology
The target calculator uses the formula: n = reviews × (target - current) / (5 - target), where n is the number of new 5-star reviews. The time estimate is based on a realistic average of 4 new reviews per month for small and medium-sized businesses.
What-if simulation
The simulation calculates the weighted average of existing and new reviews: New average = (current × count + new stars × new count) / (count + new count). This lets you see immediately how, for example, 10 new 5-star reviews — or a single negative review — would affect your average.

That depends on your current average and the number of existing reviews. Example: with 4.0 stars and 20 reviews you need about 20 new 5-star reviews. The calculator uses the weighted average formula and shows your personal result immediately.
How much damage does a single 1-star review do?
