Der Zoo Wilhelmshaven ist ein traditionsreicher Tierpark, der bereits 1928 eröffnet wurde. Auf einer Fläche von rund 13 Hektar beherbergt er eine vielfältige Tierwelt mit über 1.000 Tieren aus mehr als 200 Arten. Der Zoo ist bekannt für seine besonderen Attraktionen wie das Delfinarium, in dem Seelöwen und Robben zu sehen sind, sowie das Regenwaldhaus, in dem tropische Tiere wie Affen, Schlangen und Vögel leben.
Neben den Tieren bietet der Zoo auch ein abwechslungsreiches Programm für Besucher. Es gibt Fütterungen, Tierschauen und Führungen, bei denen man mehr über die Tiere und ihre Lebensweise erfahren kann. Darüber hinaus verfügt der Zoo über ein Kinderspielplatz, ein Café und einen Souvenirladen.
Der Zoo Wilhelmshaven ist gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Er liegt direkt an der Haltestelle 'Zoo' der Straßenbahnlinie 1 und ist auch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Für Besucher stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung.
