Das Schweriner Schloss ist ein historisches Schloss in Schwerin, der Landeshauptstadt von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Es ist eines der bedeutendsten Schlösser Deutschlands und seit 2011 Teil des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes. Die Ursprünge des Schlosses reichen bis ins 10. Jahrhundert zurück, als an dieser Stelle eine slawische Burganlage stand.
Das heutige Schloss wurde im 19. Jahrhundert im Stil der Neorenaissance erbaut und beherbergt heute neben Ausstellungen und Veranstaltungsräumen auch den Landtag von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Besucher können die prachtvollen Innenräume, die Schlosskapelle und den Schlossgarten besichtigen. Besonders sehenswert sind der Rittersaal, die Schlossküche und der Schweriner Burgsee, an dem das Schloss thront.
Das Schweriner Schloss ist ganzjährig geöffnet und gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeiten befinden sich in der Nähe. Führungen durch das Schloss können vorab gebucht werden.
