Der Wasserturm Wismar ist ein historisches Wahrzeichen der Stadt und bietet Besuchern einen einzigartigen Ausblick über die Hansestadt. Erbaut im 19. Jahrhundert, diente der Turm einst der Trinkwasserversorgung. Neben der Aussichtsplattform in 45 Metern Höhe beherbergt der Turm ein Museum, das die Geschichte der Wasserversorgung in Wismar erzählt. Besucher können den Turm über 154 Stufen erklimmen und dabei die historische Architektur und Technik bewundern. Oben angekommen werden sie mit einem 360-Grad-Panorama über die Hansestadt belohnt.
Der Wasserturm Wismar ist ganzjährig geöffnet und gut zu Fuß vom Marktplatz aus zu erreichen. Für Besucher stehen Parkplätze in der Nähe zur Verfügung. Der Eintritt ist kostenpflichtig, Kinder und Jugendliche erhalten ermäßigte Tarife.
